904- 2/5 – The school system and the Chinese economic miracle (LESSON OF POLITICAL EDUCATION No. 2)
But the latter must be accompanied by intelligence in the choice of school programs. I was shocked the day I looked at what was being taught to 6–7-year-olds in my country, Cameroon. I would surely have thought it to be a bad joke if I did not have a textbook in my hands. The worst thing in all this is that we see politicians making great plans for the country, while forgetting that they have not trained a youth capable of embodying it. Because in order to think about the country of the future, it is necessary to decide right away how to prepare for battle in 20 years, the children who are born today. It is necessary to make the choices today, of the missiles and rockets of scientific and technical knowledge that these children must master in order to win the war of intelligence tomorrow.

"This means that we have brought about a historic resolution to the problem of absolute poverty in China, and we are now moving confidently toward the second centennial objective of making China a great modern socialist country in all respects," says CCP General Secretary and President of the People's Republic of China, Xi Jinping.

This means that the Chinese Communist Party has succeeded in guaranteeing a minimum basis of common general, scientific and technical knowledge for all the children of the country.
